Goals and Objectives
- Understand, capture and communicate the lived experience of those with a Spinal CSF Leak
- Increase healthcare professionals’ knowledge of Spinal CSF Leaks including the importance of early diagnosis and treatment and clinical care pathways
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based information and education to empower people with Spinal CSF Leaks and their support network to be active participants in their treatment and recovery
- Create a strong support network for Spinal CSF Leak patients and their families, offering emotional support and practical assistance
- Advocate for improved access to healthcare resources, treatment options, and patient rights
- Collaborate with medical specialists and researchers to advance knowledge and treatment options for CSF leaks
- Organise fundraising efforts to secure the necessary funds for all these activities and initiatives
- Foster partnerships with healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and government agencies to achieve common goals in CSF leak prevention and treatment.
