Our Vision

To improve the quality of life of people with Spinal CSF Leaks and Intracranial Hypotension in Australia through improved access to timely, effective, and supportive care.

Goals and Objectives

  •   Understand, capture and communicate the lived experience of those with a Spinal CSF Leak 


  • Increase healthcare professionals’ knowledge of Spinal CSF Leaks including the importance of early diagnosis and treatment and clinical care pathways


  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based information and education to empower people with Spinal CSF Leaks and their support network to be active participants in their treatment and recovery


  • Create a strong support network for Spinal CSF Leak patients and their families, offering emotional support and practical assistance


  • Advocate for improved access to healthcare resources, treatment options, and patient rights


  • Collaborate with medical specialists and researchers to advance knowledge and treatment options for CSF leaks


  •  Organise fundraising efforts to secure the necessary funds for all these activities and initiatives


  • Foster partnerships with healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and government agencies to achieve common goals in CSF leak prevention and treatment.
